The construction work of Hainan's Wenchang spacecraft launch site is underway, and is expected to be in use by 2014, according to Fang Xiaoyu, the executive vice governor of Hainan province on August 20.
Fang said that the assorted projects at the launch site, which included an aerospace theme park, was signed on the morning of August 20. The total investment is approximately 7 billion RMB.
